Elise and I took a nice stroll through Castle Groeneveld's park last weekend - the weather was actually quite nice for a change (2016... worst summer ever in The Netherlands).
Anyway, a couple of times I asked if I could take a picture of her, but she responded with a firm 'no'.
Then suddenly, a couple of minutes after the last time I asked, she stopped and said 'click' making a gesture as if she was taking a picture. I asked her if I should take a picture of her and she immediately said yes.
She then drove her wheelchair backwards a bit to the side of the path as if to choose a good background. Then she struck the cool pose you see here - arms spread out and a big smile. It's not easy to take pictures of her, but this times it was an entirely different experience, she gave me the chance and time to take some nice shots.
